Not just words this Wednesday

Yesterday I was in my Bible quite a bit. Started my day with it and ended it with it as well. I wasn’t in these particle books of the Bible (the verses that I’m going to list below) but it was as if my eyes and hands were being led to them. They all had a theme.

Here they are:

  • God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. Psalm 46:5
  • The LORD has taken away all your judgements, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You shall not see disaster no more. Zephaniah 3:15
  • For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it. Thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Isaiah 51:3

Even now as I type I see His gentleness for us, His great love for us. His great tenderness for us. His sweet washing away of the messages from the world that we are nothing. We are His so we are not only NOT nothing. We are His heart. His children. He is washing away the filth and not just washing it away, He is clothing us for the day, for eternity and promising He is in our midst.

That’s the take away today. HE IS IN OUR MIDST and that, my friend, is all we need to carry in our mind and heart and soul. Share Him with the world that needs Him. He is with us.

Oh, Jesus, light up our hope and help us set Your name on high as we go about our day. In Your name, Amen!!!

With all my heart,

Who me...? Just a woman who Jesus met at a well in 2009, and He changed her life forever.
